When looking on the map (#3) the user could either zoom into his area and see if there is any evidence in his/her area. This could be supported by geo-location function (requires HTTPS).

When looking on a table (#15) or scatter plot (#8), the user would best filter (#2) by pre-defined (administrative) area (eg region) (attribute "location_region").

Citizens may need to understand that absence of evidence does not mean absence of past tsunamis
