As a hazards manager

I would like a search function that allows me to type in an attribute I am interested in and see all relevant data points highlighted.

It would also be good if the DB automatically zoomed to the relevant points

clarified:

I would like to highlight points of a specific attribute value

Could be both "multi-select dropdown with search" (filter options limited to available options) or free-text search field that searches any attribute

@MarionGadsby please clarify what you mean with highlighted? Is this different from being filtered (#2) and shown (on map #3, on scatter plot #8, table #15, time plot #73)?

I just mean the dot flashes or changes colour on the map or scatter plot the row on the column changes colour- you still see the rest of the data, but the one you’re interested in stands out

This is partly covered by #4 and #5 (coloring data points by attribute values)

This can probably best done from the layer key (on hover or click interaction)
