What is the log file max size

What is the log file max size. It appears to be around 1GB. When I migrate large number of items the log seems to stop as we cross the 1GB size, but the tool keeps migrating.

This causes an issue because I cannot find error messages for errors in a work item migration. Is there a setting for this anywhere?

Does the migration-errors.log still populate? It is set to rollOnFileSizeLimit? Should be right next to the existing log...

File size limit... Im setting it to roll on file size limit... so yea, 1gb.... that's probably too big... no?

I've seen this be an issue for:

• project name is invalid (new one)
• using an http connection, which will not work.
• proxy or firewall issues.

Probably in that order of likelihood...

I think it was HTTP.

My colleague made a change which we had made in the previous version, 14, too. We are going to try it out tomorrow on a test run for a migration.

I'll share the change with you if and maybe it can be integrated as an option.

I have downloaded released v16.0.4, but I cannot find any documentation on the new feature for setting the limit on the log file size.
Can you send a sample config file?

You don't need to set anything. It's all done in that version.
