It's not possible to see what the issue is as you have truncated the log. Above the error it should tell you which area and/or iterations are the issue and you can use #1846 to map them. |

I have iterations and areas migrated from the source to target project, the issue is related with teams that were not migrated, could you please advise in this scenario? here is the log |

This error only usually occurs when Work Items are moved from one Project to another and we have Area or Iteration paths that don't exist in the target. I've not seen it for TFS. |

@MrHinsh I am from the same team as @raczluk So we have a case when TFS Source has both TeamField and AreaPath. Since TeamField is not supported in Services, in Target now we have AreaPath from Source + more Area Path from TeamField Values. We got past that issue shown in the log below by creating an Area with that same name in Target. Now I am getting the 'This path is not anchored in the source project name:' error for a Team that has only TeamField value in Source and now AreaPath in target. Plus Team Name and Field values are different. Here is more details: This is from Area Mapping: In Source, there is the same team but 'Defects n Enhancements' is a TeamField value, there is no Area Path with this name. What do we do in this case?

It should create the area path in the target on demand if the setting in the config allow. Otherwise you would need to create the area path. |
