Boxes in gray, without label

First of all, thank you for this fantastic and ingenious idea!

This might be a dumb question (sorry I'm a blender noob and don't even know what search term I could use)

I'm using blender 4.4, opened the "red bin" version but all of the bins appear gray and there is no overlay with labels indicating which box is which

What am I doing wrong?

I am having this same issue, and I don't know how to change the number of boxes. lol

I changed the viewport to show features of the 'redbins' blender file.

Bin indicator would be nice to have showing on the drawer part of the layout.
