Your screenshot shows 3.0.22 as a last commit message. However, your screenshot does not show this part.

Is the 3.0.22 a last commit message or a last message commit body?

this is a multi-module (with multi-git-repo) project, 3.0.22 is the last commit message of git repo 1, see below

git repo 2 is where i create MR and report this issue

this particular structure may be cause the problem?

Multimodules, or multiple independent Git repositories are not supported yet.

Still, is that a submodule-based project - I mean, the eimplugin is a Git submodule of eim_base_maven?

eimplugin and eim_base_maven, they are independent git repository, not submodule.

{{lastCommitMessage}}, looks like it picked the wrong git repository.

when to do : right click on eimplugin directory, and choice the popup menu Git - Quick Merge Request

I forked your code, and I solved the problem that multiple Git repositories could not be recognized in my own code.
