default.nix currently contains both:

  • Nix functions for using thunks
  • Nixified packaging du jour of nix-thunk itself.

The former is more stable and more wildly applicable. It is intended for regular users of nix-thunk no matter how they choose to build the tool. The later is likely to change and more for CI than end consumers.

Splitting the file makes this distinction clear.
