Hi @wleoncio,

I would like to run BAPS for my project and was going to try your rBAPS but see you recommend running the original software. The link to that page is broken, and I get: Page not found (404) Sorry, but the page cannot be found. The page may have been moved or deleted. when I try the link here.

Searching around the linked website as well as some online searching hasn't turned up a functioning link for BAPS. Can you point me to the current site hosting BAPS software, or would you consider your R implementation at working stage where I might as well go ahead and try it?

Thanks,
Irina

Hi Irina,

Thank you for getting in touch. Indeed, the original page has been taken down, I'll make sure to update the README file.

We have preserved a copy of the original BAPS here. Those assets contain all the original source code, which requires MATLAB to run. Alternatively, you can recompile the software so it works independently (see instructions here). Let me know if you need further assistance.

Best,
Waldir

BTW, we have also preserved most of the content of that original link on https://github.com/ocbe-uio/BAPS/wiki.

Hi Waldir, quick question - is the software you linked to for Mac OSX or for linux?

Hi Irina,

The code you download is OS-independent, so it should work on MATLAB for Linux, macOS and Windows. Do you have MATLAB and a MATLAB compiler/SDK on your machine?

Hi Waldir,

I need to check with our IT department to find out which computers have MATLAB and are ok for me to install software on. I probably won't get a chance till January to do that, but I'll let you know if I'm successful or if I have other questions. Thanks!
