Automatically Calculate # Sessions

TL;DR

Use COUNTA formula.

Important

Only scheduled cells can contain text of any kind.

Steps

Select the cell, type =COUNTA(

Select the entire range available for schedule.

Press ENTER key. Now we are done with the first one.

Then, use autofill to apply to the rest of the entries. Select the cell we just finished, you’ll see a small blue box in the lower right corner. Drag the blue box all the way down to the last row.

Done.
