Need a 32bit visible filesystem

The IRAF package is limited to 32bit and works fine in a container but can not 'see' the /arc filesystem. The 32bit IRAF application is unable to access the filesystem information on the large filesystem and needs a small volume to work. Works fine in /scratch but those data only last until session end.

Please add a smaller /work volume that has just a few TB so that IRAF can work and data is preserved between sessions.

This would be amazing, as the filesystem is the only thing preventing the gemini-iraf pipelines from working inside ARCADES. Offering this on ARCADES would save all Mac users a lot of trouble, as iraf does not work on OSX machines, and the Gemini-provided container is pretty clunky.
