Error creating Spaces

I just got opencloud to work as a LXC in proxmox. The only error at the moment is that I can't create any Spaces. When I do I just get an error message which I can trace to:

I do have data/config cifs mapped, if I # OC_DATA_DIR/OC_CONFIG_DIR it all works. back to cifs mapped drive problem back :(
my /etc/fstab: //192.168.1.104/cloud /mnt/omv cifs credentials=/etc/smb-cred,iocharset=utf8,uid=1000,gid=1000,file_mode=0775,dir_mode=0775,mfsymlinks,vers=3.0,rw,nofail,_netdev 0 0

I can see the Spaces I created under Admin settings/Spaces but not under Spaces, it empty. I really don't know how to proceed, any suggestions will be much appreciated.

Will this requirement change? I've Hetzner Storage Share (Nextcloud) and would like to convert to opencloud using Hetzner Storage Box (cifs).

so far everything is working as expected, but not Spaces. Shall I try NFS instead? or what does work?

whatever i try with NFS I only get "assess-denied". can anyone share the NFS server/client options?

After some hours of trial en error I finally got a NFS setup that seams to work. I share the disk through OpenMediaVault with NFS option: rw,sync,no_subtree_check,insecure,all_squash,anonuid=1000,anongid=1000. I map the disk on a proxmox server and then share it as a disk to a LXC running OC. Since uid/gui changed on the LXC disk I had to chmod -R 1000:1000 and after that everything (I hope) works, at least so far. Really great piece of software!
