Problem with uploading files

Hi there,

right now I'm in the process of ditching onedrive and other Microsoft dependencies :)
I stumbled upon opencloud and I was impressed with it. On a debian homelab I managed to setup opencloud (rolling) with collabora and I'm impressed with the speed and ease of use. I wired the storage volumes to my synology.

I extended my setup with the apps, clamav, search etc. And it kept working until a couple of days ago.

Since a couple of days when I try to upload a file the file keeps hanging. I found some other discussions with users telling about disabling clamav, so I tried but nothing changes. I switched back to version 4.1.0, no difference, tuned AV on, no difference. Whatever I do new files always end up in limbo,

I ensured that the docker compose uses the same user as the owner of the mounted volumes. On the synology I explicitly forced the volume to have the same owner. set file write permissions etc

when I inspect the logs of the docker images, there is nothing indicating that there are problems (no errors, no warnings).

And this scares me a bit, what if I setup a clean environment, upload and organize all my documents and this happens again?

How can I fix the setup that will allow me to upload new files? Are there tools out there (or instructions) that I can use?

This is clearly a configuration problem. The files are uploaded successfully. If they are looking greyed out in your case, it means that your virus scanning is not working.

There should be logs in the clamav or openCloud service.

your files are still uploading. They are just stuck in the after upload processing. Your can fix that by running opencloud storage-users uploads sessions

I'll get onto it tonight, try to find out why this keeps happening

I see what is happening, when I execute the command "opencloud storage-users uploads sessions"

then the following message appears:

Failed to initialize filesystem driver 'ocis'
Error: need nats for async file processing

that triggered me, I compared the configuration with a previous backup and noticed that I had a post processing step for antivirus (while the service was not there) and that I was using a data gateway.....

cleanep the config, and now she runs again like a charm. Time to start adding new services.
