🐞 Task Description
CyberLens is under active development, and we welcome contributors to help identify and fix bugs across the codebase.
This is an open, ongoing bug bounty issue.
If you find a bug and submit a valid fix, your PR may be merged and you will earn at least 10 points.
For high-impact or critical bugs, the points may be increased.
✅ What Qualifies as a Bug
Examples include (but are not limited to):
- Runtime errors or crashes
- Incorrect logic or unexpected behavior
- Broken edge cases
- Incorrect provider handling
- TypeScript errors or unsafe typings
- Performance or concurrency issues
- Security issues
❌ What Does NOT Qualify
- Style-only changes
- Refactors without fixing a bug
- Dependency bumps without justification
- Large redesigns without discussion
- Feature requests (use normal issues for that)
🔧 How to Participate
- Identify a bug in the existing codebase
- Create a PR clearly explaining:
- what the bug is
- how it manifests
- how your fix resolves it
- Link this Bug Bounty issue in your PR description
🧪 Review & Points
- All submissions will be reviewed by maintainers
- Points will be awarded after merge
- Points depend on:
- severity
- impact
- code quality
- Low-quality or invalid PRs may be closed without points
⚠️ Notes
- This issue remains open indefinitely
- Duplicate bug fixes will not be rewarded
- Maintainers reserve the right to reject PRs that don’t meet project standards
