Currently when make prepare-local-env for local development kind would attempt to bind port 5000.

On OSX Monterey and maybe on other versions as well this port might be already bound by the Control Center App, depending whether you have activated AirPlay Receiver (https://developer.apple.com/forums/thread/682332).

So port 5000 might be not the optimal choice.

Going to move the default port to 5001.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_TCP_and_UDP_port_numbers mentions other tools using port 5001. Not sure how relevant these are for us, but perhaps another port would even be better?
