[Test failure] TC_INSTRUCTOR_8: Errors are not displayed correctly in extensions tab

Expected behavior

As a course author, I want to know the errors in my input when I try to extend individual due dates or reset extensions.

Actual behavior

As a course author, I cannot see the errors in my input when I try to extend individual due dates or reset extensions.

Steps to reproduce

1. From Studio create a new Subsection.
2. Configure it with an assignment type for grading and assign a due date.
3. Go to the LMS > Instructor > Extensions > Individual Due Date Extensions or Resetting Extensions.

Errors are currently not displaying correctly for the following cases:

1. Specify an email or username that doesn't exist.
2. Specify an invalid date format.
3. Do not specify anything.

@AntonellaPerrupato: in the video that was reported a graded subsection was selected, were you able to reproduce that as well?

Peter helped us test this in Master, and it couldn't reproduce it. So we're almost sure it's related to the indigo theme. I'm going to open an issue in the repo so maintainers can address it!

I successfully reproduced this locally using Tutor@main. After some digging, I found that this PR might be related to the failure: openedx/edx-platform#35392. I'll post here once I know more.

Hello everyone, I was working on fix this issue and I requested this PR.
The error exceptions are successfully settled, now those errors are shown correctly when the user fill the fields wrongly or when fields are blank. Also I found the "reason"s serializer is not required, therefore the form will be submitted whether is filled or not.
@mariajgrimaldi and @BryanttV requested some changes that I'm currently applying.
Once I finish that I will leave a note in this comment as an update.
