After more careful evaluation, it seems this is what is happening Host only plays audio when the default device is selected in Windows It seems when I launch Steam Big Picture from Moonlight, Sunshine is correctly switching to the virtual device, but after 2-3 seconds at most it switches back to my Host default and sounds starts playing only on Host If I minimize Moonlight and choose to resume Steam Big Picture it now correctly sets the Virtual Device and no sound comes from Host, but after exiting Moonlight the Host never switches back to my default device (I realized I need to properly close the connection in order for the default device to switch back on the Host, if I go back to Moonlight and click on running app, select Exit, it works) The way I have it configured is Audio Sink: Empty (If I put my default device here, it will never switch to the virtual one) |

Hi, new to Sunshine
I've been having some troubles setting up the audio to play only on client (not on host)
I installed the Steam Streaming Speakers virtual device and use it as my Virtual Sink, but when I launch Steam Big Picture, it seems like 1 out of 5 times it sounds correctly on client, and after 2-3 seconds it goes back to my Host only, it also switches my host to the Virtual device so I need to switch it back after playing (not sure if this last part is intended, or I should be putting my normal device into Audio Sink setting.
Also don't see anything in the logs regarding audio problems, is there a preferred virtual device to use with Sunshine? couldn't find any info regarding this, I need it to get 5-7.1 audio support
Host:
Windows 10 22H2
Sunshine 0.17.0
AMD RX 6800 XT
Client:
Apple TV Moonlight
Multi Channel PCM
