Switch controller doesn't work

I'm having a problem where my Switch controller doesn't work. I've tried installing several versions of ViGEmBus to fix the issue, but it doesn't seem to be working. Everything boots up fine, and I can actually use Joy-Cons in Steam's Big Picture mode and Playnite. However, when I boot any game, there is no response from the Joy-Cons. The only thing I can do is use the mouse mode with the touchscreen to interact with the game. I've tried running several games like Elden Ring, Vampire Survivors, etc., and the only game that works with Joy-Cons is Geometry Dash. Other games don't seem to have any response from Joy-Cons.
