Describe the Bug

I currently use an 8bitdo Ultimate Controller (connected with the 2.4Ghz dongle) attached to a Rpi4 Retropie with moonlight installed.
When launching moonlight it connects to the Sunshine server ( installed on my Windows 11 Laptop) the controller is identified as an Xbox Controller, so no issue so far. However when I launch a game, any game, and I press the Right Trigger, the controller suddenly stops working, and upon moving the left stick I see the mouse of my laptop moving around the screen; it is as if somehow the right trigger button changes the mode of the controller; from controller to mouse.
When I launch steamlink, also installed on my Retropie I do not experience this issue, and the controller is also properly identified as an 8bitdo Ultimate Controller.
Any suggestions please?

Expected Behavior

Right trigger button should work as expected, and not change into a 'mouse' behaviour.

UPDATE:
I seem to have fixed this issue.
In case someone has issues with his/her controller and has a similar setup to mine (setup described in my initial post) I followed the following guide here .
Just keep in mind to run the commands directly to Retropie (not via SSH, or some other remote connection) otherwise it will not fully work.
Now the Right Trigger works as it is supposed to including the other buttons.
