Azure Provider Continues to Fail Authentication

What are you trying to achieve: Adding Azure Cloud provider

I have spent days trying to figure why adding Azure provider continues to fail with this error - Validation failed: Incorrect credentials - Subscription ID 'fa1xxxxxxxx50f' not found" meanwhile the subscription is there and I have followed this Microsoft document below
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/entra/identity-platform/howto-create-service-principal-portal. and added to key values for the below

Application ID
Client ID value
Tenant ID
Subscription ID

Hey @epicdigitalacademy make sure that you're using the client_secret value and not its UUID that is a common mistake I see people make.

Hey @epicdigitalacademy can you try setting the log level_azure = debug in advanced settings, re-running this verify credentials task and send over the azure log?

@epicdigitalacademy we just had someone on our test team run into this, the issue was not having any role assignments to a subscription in their App. Make sure you follow the documentation around assigning a role under Subscription / Access control (IAM) / Add role assignment
