Groups: Show friendly name as well #3567

Describe the solution you'd likeWhen adding a new group, the WebUI shows all devices by its internal name (with serial) instead of the adjustable name of the device. That makes finding the right device hard, if I dont know the serial. Would be great if the WebUI could show the "nice" name of an device anywhere :)

Sorry, but this is not entirely true. See here: 
So all you have to do is to ensure that also each channel will get a dedicated name and not only the device itself because in the group listing the channel names are shown of course because there you connect to specific device channels and not to a entire device. So simply go to the device settings in the WebUI and use the dedicated "Rename Channels" funtionality to ensure the channels will get similar names like you choose for the device. See here, e.g.:
