When working on a test or a function, you can use the keyboard to navigate on the canvas with the arrow keys, open a step using the enter key and close a window with the ESC key (in most cases).
You can find more keyboard shortcuts that relates to steps by right-clicking on a step and view the relevant shortcuts:
Another shortcut that you should know and use to save time while working on the flow, is thectrl+spaceshortcut. This will open a quick search window that you can use in order to find tools and quickly add them to the canvas (use the arrow keys to change the selection in the results list and the enter key to select, or use the mouse to select on of the results).
