Regarding option 3 under License Server, it is not clear whether we mean turn off firewall and antivirus temporarily to see what happens (more likely I hope), or whether we mean permanently. In either case, many organisations would object to such a step on security grounds. Woud be good to get some understanding of what this step is trying to achieve in such situations. Yes, the change should be temporary - If all works fine with FW/Antivirus down, then we need to advise the client to create exception rules for the related ports. undefined (tal.a) - 03/14/2013 10:07 AM

*** Once the license activated on the station,DON'Tchange the clock settings. The date and time changes may make the license invalid ***License Server :1. Make sure that license server is up2. Make sure that there is are enough valid licenses in the pool3. Turn off the firewall and antivirus applications on the Server and Client machine4. Shutdown license server
5. Check UDP port (defaul port 5093) from Client to Server and vice versa (use UDP tester from "TestShell Suite Installer\Licensing\UDPTester" folder)
6. Ping the server (start->run->cmd, type ping [server hostname])7. Turn on the license server8. Use "TestShell Suite Installer\Utilities\Licensing\TestShellLicenseTester" application for checkout the license (see the attached file, use the NETWORK option) from the client9. Use "TestShell Suite Installer\Utilities\Licensing\TestShellLicenseTester" application for checkout the license (see the attached file, use the NETWORK option) from the serverSeat License :1. Make sure that fingerprint of the machine match the license (see the attached Fingerprint.jpg file)2.
