Deeplink to Codespace with extra parameters

Dear GH team, I have a repository with multiple dev containers (different lab environments), that I can start with a corresponding deeplink. However I'd also like to supply additional parameters as part of deeplink to be used by Codespace as env variables or similar. (not secrets as they have to be defined by Codespace user, not visible and take extra work to update if they have to be changed frequently)
Is that already supported in some way? Or are there any plans to implement that?
On top it would be amazing to have drop down menus to pick various custom parameters (similar to branch, region, machine type).
