I have been working with GitHub Copilot (chat) without any issues so far, but now it is not connecting to my GitHub account.
I see the message: "GitHub Copilot has not used this account."
I restarted the application and signed back into the account from VS Code, but nothing seems to work

Any suggestions?

Here are the steps I’ve already taken:

Restarted Visual Studio Code.
Signed out and signed back into my GitHub account within VS Code.
Verified that my GitHub account is active and in good standing.
Suggestions for Resolving the Issue:

Check GitHub Copilot Status:

Ensure that GitHub Copilot services are operational by checking GitHub's status page.
Update Visual Studio Code:

Make sure you’re using the latest version of Visual Studio Code. Sometimes, updates include fixes for integration issues.
Update GitHub Copilot Extension:

Ensure that the GitHub Copilot extension is up-to-date. Go to the Extensions view in VS Code and check for updates.
Reinstall GitHub Copilot Extension:

Try uninstalling and then reinstalling the GitHub Copilot extension to resolve any potential issues with the extension itself.
Check Authentication Settings:

Verify that your authentication settings in VS Code are correct and that there are no issues with the OAuth permissions for GitHub Copilot.
