Same thing, it stops paginating after a little bit less than 300 events. Documentation implies that the limit is 300, but for some reason, it is not precisely 300 (is this a bug?). |

I'm interested in processing a list of public events from my user to condense into a blog post about what I worked on. I started working with the
/users/<me>/events/public
API (authenticated with a PAT) but noticed it stops paginating after ~300 items. I'm seeing the same thing for the/events
API. There's this note in the documentation:90 days is enough for my purposes, but 300 events for me comes down to about one week, which is pretty useless. Is this really a limitation of the API? It seems like a very low cap. I can't find other references to the 300-item limit.
I was kind of trying to recreate the per-month activity display from the
/user
page, but it looks like that's calling some kind of API endpoint that returns HTML directly (rather than JSON), and it's also more condensed (doesn't seem to have all the event types).Beta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
