CS50 Codespace not loading

Note: I am very new to anything coding-related, so pardon any inability to specify something or unfamiliarity with the subject.
I am working through the CS50x course and it uses a code space as an IDE. For about a month, it has not loaded when I try to open it. I have tried loading it through the link on the CS50x website, and through GitHub (by going to 'your code spaces' under profile --> All codespaces there are currently 'owned by cs50'). I did at some point, though, get past the 'connecting' loading screen to the 'starting.' I have tried deleting the code space and restarting it in an attempt to change it, yet it didn't seem to work. I'm not sure if this is the wrong approach or not. Currently I have two code spaces listed in my code spaces: solid train, studious guide.

Please let me know what I can do.

Hey @w0nton. I was having the same issue while opening my workspace on the VS Code application. I found that using a prior version (1.5.9) of GitHub Codespaces fixes the issue until CS50 can hammer out the bugs. Let me know if you found anything else that works!

i tried to create a new codespace but i couldn't find cs50 and i got this error once i selected the main branch

In my case, I switched from Google Chrome (has my github logged in) to Mozilla (fresh browser without any pre-occupied data) and logged in to the github account from there. this worked for me fine. You can try it out.

Thanks! My codespace worked now! I think it is the simplest way to resolve this problem.

The only solution is to open the codespace in VS CODE
first go to https://github.com/codespaces
go to cs50
click to the 3 point and select "open in / with vs code"

The deffirance is that cs50.dev link maybe is under a lot of requests from the cs50 student so it run in a slow way or it's a cloud browser issues
When u run it from the github codespaces directly on vs code it run in your own code editor in your device so it will be more fastest

I have similar problem, and the codespace seems always timeout. I have tried open in VS code desktop, it doesn't work. Does anyone use offline with docker method successfully?
