Has anybody successfully launched Webex on Elemetary OS?

i downloaded the .deb package and was able to install but webex does not start. After clicking, app did not run. checked the logs in.local/..... but not error indication.
Would appreciate help on install/running webex.

What is output when you launch Webex from your terminal?

Your hint of running on the command line helped me start to research another way.

When i run /opt/Webex/bin/CiscoCollabHost is just returns back the prompt. echo $? is 0.
Tried forcing Wayland by prepending variable setting WAYLAND_DISPLAY="", same result
Also Tried forcing XCB platform by prepending variable setting QT_QPA_PLATFORM=xcb, same result
Tried to find missing library dependencies but there's no output of "not found" ldd /opt/Webex/lib/libspark-windows-desktop-ui.so

Redditer recommended the following
sudo apt-get instrall apparmor-utils
sudo aa-complain unprivileged_userns
sudo systemctl stop apparmor
sudo systemctl start apparmor

Webex start and login successful when i run the command WAYLAND_DISPLAY="" /opt/Webex/bin/CiscoCollabHost

To add icon to dock

• cp -p /usr/share/applications/webex.desktop ~/.local/share/applications
  • edit ~/.local/share/applications/webex.desktop to update the Exec line, see below contents of the file
