CLOCKING - DOES ELEMENT RECEIVE - EXTERNAL WORD CLOCK

I have slipping issues in ELEMENT and am looking at purchasing a BLACK LION AUDIO WORD CLOCK, to clock ELEMENT, so all the plugins and Elements engine works solid without error! Does Element receive WORD CLOCKING?

I use RME Multiface I/O the word clock will connect via BNC

Word clock is a hardware feature, isn't it? I've never seen any app that processes it. Although I could be completely wrong about that.
