Best practices for engaging multiple communities

I'm thrilled to see this community coalesce around open-source/open-science principles and Ocean Modeling. However, as I scan my inbox daily, I see many overlapping and related discussions, and I'm unsure how best to cross-pollinate. This is a new discussion group for me, and I'd like to hear your thoughts on how best to share information that could be useful to this group. To get things rolling, I'll share a few links this group might find helpful. I welcome thoughts on how to do this better.

1. OceanHackWeek (registration for 2023)- NSF/IOOS sponsored hackweek focusing on accessing and using ocean observations of all types.
2. IOOS Tech Google Group (register here) - General announcements and discussions related to IOOS and broader community efforts in data management of ocean observations and information.
3. ERDDAP Resources (ERDDAP is a standard and highly flexible, and performant data server that serves many of the data sets this group will need):

   • New ERDDAP Github organization based on the tool built and curated by the awesome Bob Simon from NOAA PFEL
