It depends on which ownCloud backend, you only can try with ownCloud Infinite Scale, as the PHP based ownCloud does not have the LibreGraph API which we need. Apart from that, I am with @kulmann that we haven't changed any logic, however, we're doing some authentication- and server-checks that might disclose even Infinite Scale backends. I have quickly check the source and could not spot something concrete, but I would not bet on that. Best is to try it I would say. |

Given that OpenCloud source code is based on ownCloud, have there been any feature or logic changes in the initial v1.0.1 version of the OpenCloud app that would break the sync protocol when used with an ownCloud backend? Main concern is about any changes that have the potential to create hidden conflicts, data loss, corruption, etc. Looking through the commit history, I cannot see any changes that would actually affect file sync as so far the commits all appear to be branding / docs / bug fixes.
I understand using the front-end apps like this is probably not officially supported.
