Interesting question. First of all, openCloud and the opencloud team has no connection to unraid. So opencloud knows nothing about that system. OpenCloud as a default runs on user 1000:1000 but, like in every other container, that can be changed when starting the container. |

Data and config folder are located in an OC share directory on an unraid server.
All directories have docker permissions 1000:1000.
I use the “Borg-Web-UI” app for backups.
The app can create backups from all unraid shares. These shares have the typical unraid permission 99:100 (nobody:users).
Backups from the OC share do not work due to the docker permission 1000:1000.
The app returns “permission denied”.
When I set the permissions for the OC share to 99:100, all shares and spaces in OC are no longer available. Only after resetting to 1000:1000 can I access the shares and spaces again.
Why can't OC shares handle the unraid permissions?
