brew jsonschema disabled?

Is there an explanation for why this is currently disabled?

I get this when installing via brew:

Error: jsonschema has been disabled because it is deprecated upstream as a CLI! It was disabled on 2024-01-21.

I haven't gotten any answer on this from the people at homebrew community.

What further information are you looking for? The error message seems clear to me, it's disabled in the Homebrew formulas because it's deprecated here.

Are you asking why it's deprecated here? Because a better replacement was written.
