I apologize for posting here, however, the author seems to have abandoned his somewhat buggy book and does not have errata or such. I will more than likely come back here for the course again.
In this instance of the book, he refers us to a repository that he evidently forgot to include in the example download as part of setting a new default editor. That part is easy enough, but heaven only knows what is in the missing repository, and he has us enter the following command after we open it:
git add .
Can anyone tell me what that command does, or ***is more information from the missing repository required for this all to make sense to anyone?
