Are there any plans already for Wayland support?
I think about contributing to this if it is wanted.

Sorry, I didn't see a notification for this issue. I looked into this a long time ago, but Wayland was not really useful yet at that time. I'll look into it again when I can block some time.

Wayland still appears a bit difficult to set up automatically and reliably, according to the docs I've found. I'll leave this open for now and keep an eye on it.
