This documentation is out of date. It is not possible to connect using WinSCP using the connection info link in the Pantheon dashboard any more without further guidance.

This documentation should be updated to reflect the new approach to connecting via WinSCP.

@tmiddlecote thanks for opening this issue. Can you share the solution for this issue if you have more details? I'm wondering if you were able to connect successfully using an SSH Key as suggested

My understanding is that once you generate an SSH key and connect it to your Pantheon account, you should then be able to specify the private key path here in the advanced settings options: https://winscp.net/eng/docs/ui_login_authentication

Is that correct?

I submitted a pull request to update this doc page, will merge it later today and you can expect this to be updated in production shortly after merging
