phrases not showing properly

!shortphrase!, !mediumphrase! and !longphrase! produce incorrect visuals. It produces a vertical line above the staff, at least for me. (Could someone please reproduce?)

According to the official abc documentation

!shortphrase!          vertical line on the upper part of the staff
!mediumphrase!         same, but extending down to the centre line
!longphrase!           same, but extending 3/4 of the way down
