move to salsa

Is it possible to move this package to salsa? I am happy to do that && add my name to maintainer/uploader if you wish as I am now starting to use pdudaemon again in anger :-)

There is a Debian lava-team (https://tracker.debian.org/teams/lava/) but there is no salsa group. I will have to think about the best approach here, whether I create a project under the python team or create a new lava-team salsa group. I think the latter would be good, but I have no real opinion.

why not in the colla area (Debian group)? I don't mind much eitehr but a new lava team seem a bit overkill and pdudamon isn't necessarily just for lava. Python is fine by me as well ofcourse, unsure what the pros/cons would be

yeah, after some more thought python-team is probably the best place from them all. I'll try to get some time to have a look at the packaging in the next few weeks or so.

for now I mirrored the repo to https://salsa.debian.org/python-team/packages/pdudaemon and next will import new upstream && update the packaging for the new repo etc

got a bit further; imported pdudaemon 1.1.0 & fixed up some of the packaging...

Next step:

• make sure d/control is good for modern python package
• update d/copyright
