Official vs. Custom integration

I am now using this custom integration as the custom integration is able to display the current power consumption, even if the connection to the ntp server is broken. Using both at the same time would in theory be possible but then the device page is messed up (like 2 different swichtes for the same function).
The official integration is able to show if there is a cloud connection available.
Just wanted to know how you manage this and wanted to give a thumbs up for the idea to merge both integrations into one :)
