Dear ROSS Users, As previously announced, we have successfully migrated the ROSS repository using the GitHub transfer tools. This means that all project history, including pull requests, issues, and discussions, have been retained. For those who have cloned the git repository onto their local machines, the links should still work. However, we recommend that you update these links to ensure they are correctly pointing to the migrated repository. |

Dear ROSS Users,
I am excited to announce that we will be migrating the ROSS repository to the Petrobras Group on Github next week. The ROSS library has been made possible through a collaboration between Petrobras and two prestigious Brazilian universities, UFRJ (Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro) and UFU (Universidade Federal de Uberlândia).
The creation of the Petrobras Group on Github has led to a company policy of keeping all open source repositories in that specific group. As part of this policy, we will be using the Apache 2.0 license and implementing CLAs (Contributor License Agreements) in the repository. These changes are standard practice and widely used by many companies with open source repositories such as Google and Facebook. Rest assured that these changes will not impact the development of ROSS, which will remain open source with a permissive license allowing for commercial use, modification, distribution, patent use, and private use.
We will notify you as soon as the migration takes place.
