Fireproofing crash on multiplayer server

Describe the bug

When hover over, dropping, or veiwing the recipe in JEI, there is a crash, either in jei's end or the server's end. i have not been able to figure out why this happends exactly

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior. For example:

1. Use a boric acid solution and fireproof an item
2. Hover over said item in inventory
3. Game crashes

Expected Behavior

The game should not crash, yet it does, and for all players

Additional context

It says that the problem is a "Screen rendering issue"
