I suggest breaking the --transparent-background which simultaneously controls being borderless and having transparent background into two independent arguments. It is super nice to have a borderless window, but would be good to be able to keep the checkerboard background.

P.s: I can't believe I didn't know pqiv exists all these years. Imho it works much smoother and better than sxiv and feh. Thanks for maintaining this great tool.
