Bug description

I hit Alt Shift M and nothing happens. Recording does not initiate. I just get a reminder that pops up to record. It worked last week.

Steps To Reproduce

Click Alt - Shift - M

Environment including version

- Beesy: 0.0.16
- OS:Windows 11
- Browser:Edge
- Media Player:it never gets that far

Hi @shegrizz , could you share some details:

• so you haven't been able to record at all after that or its working after that ?
• Also did you try switching to another tab and then switching back or clicking record on another tab ?
• can you share a screenshot of the popup you see ?

Trying to gather info on what might be causing this, so we can figure out a solution.

I tried to get a screenshot, but the popup goes away before I can click the right things. Here's what the popup says: Hey, Beesy has switched you to an active Google Meet session. Please initiate recording now

I discovered this is only happening in Edge. I was able to install and use Beesy in Chrome, on a Windows PC.

@shegrizz ok got it, we're working on a possible fix, will update here once its out

Now recording will initiate, but it won't stop. If I close the video session, Beesy says it's still recording. The recording doesn't show up in my list of recordings.

Is this happening consistently or just happened once ?

Hi @shegrizz , we launched some fixes today with version 0.0.17.
Could you please check if its better now ?
