[Bug]: codex cli is not recognised on fedora

1. download codex cli using bun
2. install t3-code appimage on fedora
3. open a project.
4. try to send some msg

Expected behavior

codex-cli path should be recognised

Actual behavior

codex-cli path is not being recognised

Am not a contributor, but am a fedora user that got this working. So some follow up questions: How did you "install" the app image? Was it gear lever? If so, you need to pass in the path of your codex binary.

Something like that ^^ The most likely thing is whatever method you're using to install the app image doesn't pass in your path properly.

Nope, bone stock configuration within t3 code itself. Worth noting that I am currently experiencing this issue that prevents me from using t3 code, gonna try and downgrade the version later today, but was working fine. #534

Had this on Fedora with the AppImage and Codex installed via Bun.

codex worked in the terminal, but t3code showed this:

Codex CLI is installed but failed to run. env: 'node': No such file or directory

Fix was:

1. Install with npm instead:

npm install -g @openai/codex

2. Symlink node and codex into /usr/local/bin:

   sudo ln -sf "$(which node)" /usr/local/bin/node
   sudo ln -sf "$(which codex)" /usr/local/bin/codex

After restarting t3code, it worked, no need to set a custom path.
