The numerical analysis branch will cover mathematical algorithms and their efficiency.
It’ll further expand on algorithms that were discussed but never used in the data structures courses that Pitt offers.
Some algorithms that will be discussed include multi precision arithmetic, polynomial and functions, differential equations and linear approximations and more.
Don’t worry if you’re not familiar with the specific algorithms themselves, the purpose of this branch is
to provide resources and spark interesting discussions about them.
