I thought it's expected feature.
When close all tab icon is clicked, all tabs are gone. In order to go to other sites, need to create a new tab first.

So, after clicking on "close all tabs" button, please click on "+" if you want to do any search or go to other url; instead of click on input button.

@plateaukao agree that it's logical and if we do it "to the book" that's how it suppose to be.

But after closing all tabs what's next action by user?, if in 99% of cases it's opening new tab then from UX standpoint we can precreate empty tab for him, basically

1, you press "close all tabs"
= all tabs are closed AND empty (new) tab is already there

Maybe after closing all tabs user will want to use bookmark, but then he can always press is on non icon so it's created in place of empty tab... Basically i don't see any cons to precreating empty tab, and one big pro (that it will save click to user in 99% of cases)

@plateaukao Daniel,

or maybe it's better (instead of suggestions above) to make "enter url" input field work from 0 tab state?
Cause bookmarks (if pressed on icon part of bookmart) do auto-create tab from zero tab state.
Basically if url is entered in tab - use this tab to load page, if in zero tab state - create new tab)

I think this is better idea than "all tabs are closed AND empty (new) tab is already there "
