I just checked for my case as I was interested, and also didn't see myself online. I check the network, and it seems UBlock Origin is blocking plausible by default. I would assume that will cause quite big discrepancies in reporting. |

Hi, I have a site where I use Plausible (swedencpp.se)
Recently, I updated the site and added a server site counter to see which routes are called and how often
When comparing those numbers to the number of plausible reports, about 70% of the page calls I see on the backend are not reported by Plausible. Again, it's not missing 20 to 30 percent; it's just capturing about 20 to 30 percent, so opposite to what the docs say.
And I can also live monitor that my browser, for example, when visiting the page, is not tracked by Plausible (does not show as a current user)
It is really sad, because the only reason I do this is to see if the page, or parts of the page, are even worth the effort.
That's the only reason why I use analytics, but it seems, default browser privacy settings are so advanced these days ...
Also, the scripting part to use
doesn't the word
plausiblenot cause browsers to stop / ignore that script? Is that still enought to not get ignored ?
Or do I do something wrong?
