Characteristic: Statify comes without an ordinary option page. Plugin settings can be adjusted directly in the Statify widget using the "Configure" link. Statify has the link "Settings" in the overview with installed plugins which serves as a jump to the plugin options.

Period of data saving

Statify keeps statistics data only for a restricted number of days: 2 weeks are set as default, time intervals up to one year are available as an option.

By default, the statistics plugin records 2 weeks. Entries of older dates are deleted in favor of database size. For this purpose, a daily cronjob checks the age of the data stock and acts when required.

Number of entries in top lists

Amount of links to be displayed in the best list (Top referers, Top targets). 3 as the default value.

Entries in top lists only for today

The selectable option added in Statify 0.8 reduces the display of entries in Bestlists to the current day. Important: The stored records of the previous days do not get lost.

In the active state the function provides a quick overview of the top placements of today. Switched off (default) the plugin lists the best values of the whole time period.

Page tracking via JavaScript

If a caching plugin such as Cachify is installed in the WordPress blog, Statify can not correctly log the page calls (possibly) because blog pages are sent directly from the plugin cache and Statify is bypassed.

Statify 1.1 is equipped with optional JavaScript tracking: A prepared JavaScript snippet is injected itself into each blog page and records page views in expected form.

For the correct approach of the function, the template footer.php must have the function call wp_footer() (depending on the WordPress theme used).
