How to make HTML elements accessible to the cursor via the r3f Moksha example?

Does anyone know how to make HTML elements accessible to the cursor (e.g., hovered, selected, and clickable links) without interfering with the responsiveness of the scroll-area in the Moksha example?

As of right now, the scroll-area is positioned over the canvas element.
