Provisioning set default of XML to Scope="Web"

When running the Get-PnPSiteTemplate to extract the XML of an existing site, is it possible to make sure the "scope" option in pnp:ProvisioningTemplate is set to "Web" instead of RootSite (which is the default)?

<pnp:ProvisioningTemplate ID="{{ID}}" Version="1" BaseSiteTemplate="GROUP#0" Scope="Web">

I'm applying the template to sub-sites and seems I need to set this.

I didn't see a option to set the scope in the configuration json schema
