Save button does not appear to work under Config on Firefox

I followed the instructions for installing the add-on onto Firefox. Unfortunately, when I went to configure it, it seemed that the Save buttons do not appear to work. When moving the mouse pointer over the save button, it does change into an hand as if clickable, but clicking does not result in anything happening. Clicking sync shows a loading symbol that never goes away. Clicking back on config afterwards shows no token or repo saved.

Firefox version: 116.0.3 (64-bit)
OS: MacOS Ventura 13.4.1
